TAG professionals led or testified as an Expert Witness in the following representative matters:

Testifying expert in state court litigation as to due diligence and other M&A-related matters in a purchase price dispute. Tittle rendered deposition testimony.  The client was successful at trial without Mr. Tittle’s testimony.

Testifying Expert Witness testifying in state court litigation relative to damages sustained by Alcatel Lucent as a result of a certain real estate transaction with Cawley Partners and other parties to the transaction.  Work involved the issue of customary M&A and due diligence practices, among other things.  Tittle  prepared an expert report and rendered deposition testimony.  The matter settled prior to Mr. Tittle’s testimony at trial. 

Testifying Expert Witness on behalf of individual in a suit brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Tittle prepared a report and testified on behalf of a former Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) of a public company regarding budgeting and projections in light of a recent merger and the CAO’s role in the budgeting process. Mr. Tittle offered rebuttal testimony as to certain aspects of the government’s expert.

Testifying Expert Witness  involving two former Enron Broadband employees in criminal proceedings resulting from charges asserted by the US Government involving the sale of the individuals’ Enron stock. A verdict was reached without Tittle’s testimony in that defense counsel elected to not to call financial experts. One defendant later settled with the Government and the other won his case in front of the Supreme Court of the United States.

Testifying Expert Witness on behalf of individual plaintiff due to plaintiff’s lost remuneration as a result of a CF Truck Lines’ employee’s alleged perpetration of age discrimination. Rendered deposition and trial testimony. The jury, using Mr. Tittle’s testimony as to actual damages, found for the plaintiff and awarded $27.5 million in damages.

Testifying Expert Witness regarding lost profits incurred by plaintiff insurance agency, if any, on behalf of defendant insurance company and other parties due to alleged wrongful termination of a General Agent Agreement. A report was prepared and the case settled prior to Mr. Tittle’s testimony.
